  It's a little bit of a dissservice to the place to call Cheeky's a cafe/coffee shop -- it's all of that with a hip edge. I've had lunch there twice and look forward to breakfast. I had a chicken/avocado/gouda sandwich lightly brushed with olive oil and grilled and my co-worker had a Spanish tuna sandwich with a remoulade and capers -- not your father's cafe. It's a bit noisy -- a "live" room -- but has quickly caught on with the Uptown crowd in Palm Springs.
